About
The story
Corporate celebrations, fundraisers, and festival dates are part of the Tribute to George Strait history. Derek Spence leads Southern County Line from Houston, recreating the country singer’s voice, appearance, and stage mannerisms. Performances have included a Galveston Fair and Rodeo anniversary event, the Texas Crab Festival, and Dosey Doe in The Woodlands. The band also played for the Houstonian Club, bringing the same tribute format into different event settings.
