Tribute to The Beach Boys
The Surf City All Stars
The Ultimate Beach Boys Experience
About
The story
Surf City Allstars are the only band in the world whose members have sung lead and toured in both the Beach Boys’ band and Jan & Dean’s band—so you get the real California sound from the people who helped deliver it on major stages. Founded in 1999 by drummer/bandleader David Logeman (Jan & Dean; performed with Brian Wilson and all surviving Beach Boys), the lineup features elite alumni: Philip Bardowell (handpicked by Carl Wilson; sang Carl’s leads with the Beach Boys), Chris Farmer (12 years with the Beach Boys as bassist, lead vocalist, and musical director), Aaron Broering (Beach Boys “Greatest Hits” shows with original members), and Ricky Lewis of The Chantays (“Pipeline”)—whom Logeman calls “the greatest living surf guitarist.” Vocals were coached by original Beach Boys Mike Love and Brian Wilson, and clients can optionally add original Beach Boys Al Jardine and/or David Marks, as well as Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean. As Al Jardine put it: “The Surf City Allstars sound as good as the original Beach Boys ever did.” David Marks adds: “They are the best Beach Boys band on the planet.”
New Show: Where the Beach Meets the Desert Pair the Surf City Allstars’ sun-soaked Beach Boys set with a second set of Eagles classics from our partner act, creating a two-hour California harmony showcase—60 minutes of Beach Boys hits followed by 60 minutes of Eagles essentials. Multiple lineup options are available, from budget-friendly configurations to full headliner packages, so you can scale the production to your event while keeping the signature vocals front and center.
