About
The story
A concert with stories and sketches, Because You're Mine follows the music and love story of Johnny Cash and June Carter. Charles Evans Jr. portrays Johnny, while Caitie Grady Evans takes on June. The San Diego performers combine 23 hit songs with moments that connect the music to the couple’s lives. Backed by country musicians, the pair draw on decades of stage and concert experience, giving the show a theatrical thread alongside its country sound.
